The Qatar University Stadium is among the 12 stadiums that will be constructed or renovated for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The project’s design features a gold facade with a free-form open surface with traditional Arabic geometric patterns and ornamentation. The stadium will be located on the grounds of Qatar’s public university.

The stadiums will be employed with cooling technology to lower down the temperature by up to 20°C. Also, in the stadiums for the players and the spectators alike, the air conditioning system will be solar powered and carbon neutral.
